A useful brand comparison identifies the exact model, fuel rating, transfer arrangement, load-management options, maintenance requirements and support route. Brand recognition does not tell you which circuits can run together at your property.

Use current documents
Ask for the proposed model’s installation, operation, maintenance and warranty documents. A warranty advertised for one product or promotion may not apply to another. Do not assume a provider is an authorized dealer from a brand logo alone; verify through the manufacturer.
