Compare the actual offer
A monthly payment alone does not show the cost of borrowing. Collect the financed amount, APR, fees, term, total repayment and any promotional conditions. Ask who the lender is and read its actual agreement before deciding.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s financing guidance explains personal installment loans and comparing lender terms. This page is a question list, not a lending offer or a recommendation to borrow.
Financing comparison worksheet
| Question | Record for each offer |
|---|---|
| Who provides the credit? | Lender name and contact route |
| What amount is financed? | Deposit, project balance and financed fees |
| What is the APR? | Disclosed annual percentage rate |
| How long is repayment? | Payment count, amount and total repayment |
| What happens after a promotion? | Rate, interest and repayment conditions |
| Can you pay early? | Applicable prepayment terms |
| What if the scope changes? | How changes affect the agreement |
Match borrowing to the project documents
Keep the accepted installation scope beside the credit agreement. Ask when funds are released, what happens if approvals or equipment delay work, and how a change order is handled. Verify those answers in the relevant agreement rather than relying on an advertisement.
Use the cost worksheet to compare the underlying project before comparing payment arrangements. An appealing payment does not make two installation scopes equivalent.
No published financing offer
Hoosier Generators has no verified lender partnership, advertised APR or financing approval promise published here. Ask a proposed provider whether it offers financing and obtain current terms directly. Confirm the provider’s identity and credentials before entering an agreement.
